Javan Chow – Co-Varsity Head Coach
Javan Chow, or Coach Chow, is a product of the original Lake Tapps Lacrosse Club playing both as a Bulldog in middle school and a Titan in High School. He attended Auburn Riverside High School and was then recruited to play lacrosse at Brigham Young University as a Defensive Midfielder and Face-Off Specialist. Coach Chow has recently graduated from BYU with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. His coaching experience has spanned over 10 years coaching various age groups and levels of lacrosse, basketball, soccer, and boxing. He joins the Spartan Family after being the Head Coach over gym operations and all training at Legends Boxing Gym in Sandy, UT. Not only is Coach Chow a certified lacrosse coach, but also a certified Boxing Coach.
When not on the field or in the gym Coach Chow enjoys reading historical fiction novels, cooking, and painting.
David Heldt – Co-Varsity Head Coach
Coach Dave, a resident of Lake Tapps area for 16 years, brings 30 years of developing, coordinating and implementing youth and adult sports programs with the City of Kent Recreation Department. Working closely with area High School Athletic Directors and Coaches; understanding scholastic policies and procedures. His coaching experience includes a variety of youth teams in basketball, baseball, football and lacrosse. Besides being certified as a US Lacrosse Level I Coach, he has his NFHS Accredited Interscholastic Coaching certification.

Brandon Harris – JV Head Coach
Coach Brandon, resident of Sumner for the past 6 years, 2nd year as the JV head coach, but he has been in the Lake Tapps lacrosse program for since 2012. Coach Brandon was an assistant coach with the Lake Tapps Bulldogs when his son started playing for Lake Tapps, then moved to the JV program when is son started High School at Sumner. Coach Brandon loves working with the players coming into the High School program from the feeder programs in the Rec leagues, and enjoys seeing them develop, learn, and hopefully achieve a spot on the varsity team. Coach Brandon is a member of the US Lacrosse association and has completed the US Lacrosse Level I Coaching certification program.
