Start of Season

Aug 16, 2018 9:54 AM

The first practice of the 2018-19 season starts on August 20th; athletes must be fully cleared by the building athletic director and book keeper before participating (paperwork, waiver, fees paid, physical up to date, etc).

Swim practices will be held at the Normandy Park Swim and Tennis Club until school starts, 7:00am to 9:00am on weekdays and tbd on selected Saturdays. When school starts, practices should be held from 3:00pm until an undetermined time, but likely around 4;45pm.

Dive practices will be held separate of swim until school starts, at NPSTC from 9:00am to 10:30am the first week and then from 4:30pm to 6:00pm weekdays until school starts. When school starts, practices should be held from 4:00pm to 5:30pm.

The only materials athletes NEED are a suitable swim suit (preferably a one piece suit that will withstand the rigors of a workout), although it is STRONGLY advised for athletes to also have a pair of goggles and a cap. Team caps can be purchases from the bookkeeper for $3.00, although any cap is suitable for practice.
