2018 Preseason Letter

Jul 31, 2018 1:05 PM

Dear Prospective Golfers,

It is time to start thinking about the upcoming golf season at TahomaHigh School. We will begin with a meeting at THS on Monday August 20th in the room 112 (adjacent to the learning commons) at 10:00 am. The meeting will provide information about try-outs on the 21st and 22nd. The meeting should be finished before 11:00. Remember to park and enter the building from the student (west) side to avoid construction.

On August 21st and 22nd we will conduct try-outs for this year’s team. Golfers will be playing 9 holes, which are provided by the course at no charge, as well as being evaluated on their short game. Student athletes who’d like to arrive early to hit balls at the range will need to provide their own range balls these first two days.

Remember, students must have the required paperwork filled out, turned in, and receive a pink card proving their eligibility before they can participate on the 21st. Necessary paperwork is available at THS in the athletic department. The paperwork is also conveniently available on the High School website. Please bring your pink eligibility card to the meeting on the 20th.

Enjoy the summer!

Coaches Reynoldson, Krause, and Tubbs
